Ski area Winter Park

The ski area Winter Park comprises of the 4 Winter Park Mountain peaks, Parsenn Bowl/Vasquez-Cirque, Vasquez-Ridge and Mary Jane, which are all connected to each other. It stretches out over 1,246 hectares from an altitude of 2,743 to 3,676 m and offers 25 lifts and approx. 143 mostly challenging slopes. Mary Jane, on the other hand, is famous for its mogul slopes and is thusly the US freestyle team’s training spot. Enjoy the adrenaline rush that scientists at the University of Denver, Colorado and Regis researched and confirmed in 2009! In Vasquez-Cirque, all of those who love extremely steep descents will definitely get their money’s worth.

Usually from every mountain station, there is an easy green piste and a difficult black piste. Discovery Park is ideal for beginners, who have never skied before. The ski area in Winter Park offers, alongside mogul slopes and extremely steep pistes, a lot of natural deep snow areas. Guided tours are offered twice daily – another highlight for experienced skiers! Freestylers and snowboarders will also be spoilt here: diverse fun parks offer everyone the opportunity to let loose.

Après ski Winter Park

In Winter Park, you will find countless activities to keep you occupied off the piste as well! Popular leisure activities include ice-skating, dog sled riding, snow-shoe hiking, snowmobile tours and the Coca-Cola Tube Park. For those who like it a bit cosier, you can retreat to one of the many bars or restaurants. Others who prefer to party, are also catered for in the bars. The "Derailer Bar", located directly on the piste, is always good for a boisterous time. The "Vertical", a hip bistro and Tap, is the ideal place to spend the evening and to regain strength. Tasty cocktails will sweeten your evening. In “Doc's Roadhouse” you can watch sports events. Live music is regularly played in "Ullr's Tavern”. If you’re looking to have a quieter evening, then head to the “Lodge at sunspot” in Vintage Hotel where you can see out the day with a good drink.
