Ski area Gstaad Mountain Rides

The "Gstaad Mountain Rides" lift pass offers you a total of 248 km of piste (see ski region). The included ski areas are easily accessible with a total of 61 lifts, and can also be reached with public transport. The various pistes lie at an altitude of between 1,000 – 3,000 m and are therefore pretty snow-sure. A total of 64 km of piste can be snow-covered by machines. The resort’s ski area Rougemont-Saanen-Gstaad and the Wasserngrat and Wispile areas in Gstaad itself provided over 90 km of piste and 19 lifts. With mainly easy pistes it is very well-suited to families. There are also special parks for the little ones to learn in. The Eggli - La Videmanette area is generally very beginner-friendly. However the descent down the valley to Rougemont, at 7 km in length and covering an altitude difference of 1,200 m, is the longest in the whole area and is therefore demanding. The so-called "Tigerrun" at Wasserngrat is the steepest piste in the region, so even the most advanced have to prove their skills!

Après ski Gstaad

At the valley stations here, directly at the pistes there are huts and bars for experiencing après-ski. With typical music and a beer, there are numerous ways to end a successful day’s skiing. Gstaad also offers several discos to party at. The "GreenGo" nightclub for example, is in 70s style and plays hits from both this era and current day. A further highlight is the "Chlösterli Stall Bar" in monasterial walls, where you can either hit the dance floor or simply enjoy a cocktail at the bar. The interior design and lighting makes a visit here an unforgettable experience. For those who would rather relax with a cosy meal, Gstaad also offers great choice. If you’re looking for variety, then there are snow shoe hikes, guided winter hikes, horse-drawn sleigh rides and curling.
