Cross-country Val di Fassa

Surrounding the winter sports resorts Campitello, Moena, Pozza and Vigo in Vall di Fassa, fans of cross-country skiing get their money's worth. On approximately 50 km of trails, everybody will find their favourite track, be it easy or challenging. Due to its altitude of 1,150 m to 2,150 m, the cross-country ski area Val di Fassa is one of the 10 highest located ones in the province of Trentino. Overall, there are five different areas for classic and skating style. The "Marcialonga", suitable for public cross-country skiing and marathon races, is a perfect cross-country connection. Long parts of the trail can be covered with artificial snow.

A good recommendation for the first steps on cross-country skis is the practice circuit in the Canazei cross-country centre. Thanks to perfectly prepared trails and the possiblity to make artificial snow, further trails allow for an unforgettable cross-country experience with fabulous views towards Langkofen and Sass Pordoi.
