Cross-country Bodenmais

Information on cross-country skiing

114 km Cross-country trails (in km):

For cross-country fans the region is marvellous. The activity centre in Bodenmais is one of the most snow sure cross-country ski areas in Germany. The cross-country centre in Bodenmais-Bretterschachten offers 6 trails up to 18 km length, which stretch over the southern slopes of the Großer Arber, just above Bodenmais. Further there is also a high-altitude track ("Auerhahn") covering a total length of 30 km, at an altitude between 800 to 1,265 m and stretching from Schareben to the ski centre of Eck at Arnbruck.

In total you will find a network of 114 km of classic runs and 110 km of skating tracks which are perfectly maintained by the districts of Bodenmais and Arnbruck.
