Ski area Region Berchtesgaden

The "Region Berchtesgaden" serves its guests with five ski areas, which are united in the lift pass of the same name: Around 40 kilometres of pistes between 795 and 1,554 m altitude and 22 lifts offer you the best skiing fun. The associated ski areas are the Rossfeld ski area in Oberau, the Hochschwarzeck ski area in Ramsau, the Gutshof ski area in Obersalzberg, the Zinken ski area in Bad Dürrnberg and the Götschen ski area in Bischofwiesen.

The cosy pistes on Hochschwarzeck are ideal for families. The 6 km long valley run on Rossfeld (ascent to Rossfeld included once a day) to Oberau is also ideal for beginners thanks to its easy level (only accessible if there is enough snow). The boarder scene and all floodlight fans meet at Götschen, where the snow park is located and where a floodlit piste is available every Friday. In the village you have access to Wi-Fi hotspots in several areas.

Thanks to their World Cup-suitable slopes, among other things, the ski areas around Königssee enjoy an international reputation as venues for world championships in snowboarding as well as in tobogganing and bobsleighing! And the Zinken ski area even offers you the chance to hit the slopes in neighbouring Austria.

From the 24/25 season, there will no longer be any groomed pistes available on the Jenner. However, the ride on the modernised Jennerbahn is still included in the lift pass. You also have the opportunity to use the new approx. 1.4 kilometre long toboggan run from the mountain station, explore the surrounding area on the snowshoe trail to the "Vorderer Pfaffenkegel" or try out the groomed winter hiking trail around the Speicherweiher pond.

Après ski Berchtesgaden

Not all après ski is typical! Along those lines, Berchtesgaden offers just the right thing for everyone: social evenings in a ski lodge are a great option, as are romantic evenings for two on a horse-drawn sleigh ride. You can party in the bars or let yourself be spoilt with excellent cuisine in local restaurants. Turn night into day in the discos!

In addition, numerous activities are offered such as winter and torchlight hikes as well as guided excursions through the beautiful landscape around the Watzmann. With the Berchtesgaden Region ski pass, you can also use the winding toboggan run on the Obersalzberg, which is easily accessible by cable car, free of charge (weather permitting). Reduced admission is available at the Watzmann Therme, where you can relax on 900 m² of water and with various treatments.
