Ski area Mariánské Lázne
The lovely little "Skiareál Mariánky" is located at the local mountain of Mariánské Lázně and not far from the resort centre. The company Snowhill operates a 20-person gondola and two tow lifts serving several pistes with a total length of 1.6 km. From the highest point on 758 m altituge, a blue as well as a red slope can be found. The pistes are very well-kept and artificial snow can be made on all of them. The runs that are served by the tow lifts are also equipped with floodlight machines so that you can continue skiing till the evening hours. With one black run near the snow park, where several kickers can be found, even more demanding skiers will find something suitable. But the stars of the mountains are the children. The children's adventure park at the valley station awaits the little ones with a magic carpet, flat slopes and diverse practice aids in order to learn skiing the playful way. From the terrace of the nearby ski hut, parents can comfortably watch their offspring take the first swings.
Après ski Mariánské Lázne
Mariánské Lázně has a diverse range of après ski possibilities on offer. Ice-skating, indoor golf, swimming and playing tennis or squash are just some of your options. Rustic inns or fine Art Nouveau restaurants spoil their guests with local Czech dishes as well as international specialities. Those who are up for a late night should try the "D-Club" or the "Na Rampe" club, where live music is also on offer. The classy Casino Bellevue, one of the greatest European casinos, is also there to try your luck and to dine in its restaurant.
For a more quiet and cultural evening, visit the cinema (only in Czech language), several galleries or the town theater in the Kurpark. The "singing fountain" with its water spectacle with light effects and music can be found in that park.
The surrounding areas also make for attractive excursions, e.g. the baroque castle Königswart (approx. 9 km from the centre) or the neighbouring spa towns of the Bohemian country triangle, Karlovy Vary (approx. 43 km away), Františkovy Lázně (approx. 36 km away). The old brewery Chodovar in its medieval stone cellars and the brewery museum around 9 km from Mariánské Lázně are also worth a visit.

Snowpark Mariánské Lázne: Snowpark
Just like the entire Skiareál Mariánky, the snowpark is also small but has lots to offer. The kicker line, which lies directly next to the tow lift and at the piste, offers opportunities for beginners and intermediate freestylers alike. Several obstacles, mostly kickers, are dotted along almost the entire piste. A variety of smaller jumps are placed next to each other so you can do synchronised jumps.
