In the border area between Loucna, Bozi Dar and Oberwiesenthal, you will find an extensive network of cross-country trails with a total of 146 km, which will make the heart of every Nordic sports fan beat faster. The trails lead through the picturesque winter landscape of the Ore Mountains and past the skiing areas of Keil- and Fichtelberg. Around Loucna pod Klinovcem, there are about 29 km of cross-country trails, of which about 26 km are wonderfully wide and therefore suitable for skating. They lead around the Keilberg and partly on a section of the Ore Mountains ski route. Most of the trails are of medium difficulty, but some are also difficult to cover. If you are still a beginner, you will find a nice, easy tour from Loucna to Horni Halze, where you can also try your hand at skating over a length of about 8.5 km. From the trails at Loucna, you also have direct access to the network of trails around Bozi Dar. You can reach the crossing point on a 7 km long trail, which is very diverse with ascents and short descents.
Coloured trail markings indicate when a track was prepared: green ones have just been freshly prepared, yellow ones were prepared a few days ago, orange ones can be up to a week old and red ones are not prepared.
