Ski area Borovets
The ski area Borovets comprises three areas in the Rila mountaints: the Borovets Ski Center, the Jastrebez Ski Center and the Markudjik Ski Center. All three of them are interconnected by lifts and slopes. At total of 52 km of piste, you can choose between 5 km of black, 27 km of red and 20 km of blue pistes.
For beginners there is a practise hill with 3 tow lifts, and laid back skiers can look forward to broad and sun-drenched slopes. Snowboarders and freestylers can show their skills in the snowboard and on the half pipe. The ski school has a selection of offers for families, who feel especially welcome in the area around Borovets.
Fans of cross-country skiers will also get their money's worth: in 1993 the biathlon world championship was held on the biathlon trail, which, since then, counts among the best cross-country trails in Europe.

Small tea stations where you can warm up and strengthen yourself with hot drinks cater for cosy relaxation after skiing. The barbecue huts on the village's streets offer very good Bulgarian food which is loved among locals and guests alike. The restaurants Blue, painted all in blue, and the stylish Lawina, which also has a wood-burning pizza oven, are a popular place to eat out in the evening.
Party-lovers will find discos with international music and happy hour. If you prefer the traditional way, you can listen to Bulgarian Folk music and have a glass of wine in the small inns. Helicopter sightseeing flights are offered in case you are looking for action, and you can also experience a Bulgarian folklore event. Romantics will enjoy a horse-drawn carriage rides at night, and if you want to experience more of Bulgaria, you should not miss out on a day trip to the capital Sofia.

Snowpark: Snow Park Borosport Borovets
The Borosport Snow Park has a length of 520 m and is comprised of three different lanes at different levels of difficulty. The park is well suited for both newcomers and advances freestylers.
A large selection of kickers, rails an obstacles offer variety, and thanks to numerous events such as the "Air and Jib Challenge", the "Sunday Extreme Sessions" and the "Drago Slope Style Planet X", it's never going to be boring!
