Cross-country Ossiach

Information on cross-country skiing

26.5 km Cross-country trails (in km):

Cross-country skiers can find numerous beautiful trails at different levels of difficulty in the region around Ossiach. Beginners can work on their technique on the easy trails in the valley while more experienced skiers can enjoy the high altitude trails of Gerlitzen. One highlight is the 8 km panorama trail at Kanzelhöhe, one of the most snow-sure cross-country tracks in the region. We recommend the easy, 4 km long Klösterle-Mittelpunkt-trail to beginners, or the forest trail Kanzelhöhe that has a length of 1.2 km.

The Kanzel/Gerlitzen cross-country trail network is labelled with a quality seal.
