Ski area Ski- & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000

With the "Zillertaler Superskipass" you can choose from 542 kilometres of piste in the Zillertal Arena, by the Mayrhofen lifts, in the Ski and Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000, in the ski area Hochzillertal – Hochfügen – Spieljoch, and the Wildkogel-Arena at Bramberg. The ski areas are all excellently linked to one another by a free train and bus shuttle (see ski region). Since the 2013/14 winter season, the Zillertal Arena offers free-of-charge Wi-Fi in all of its ski areas! In other words, not only can you enjoy the white bliss and the sun, but also share your latest experiences and highlights directly with your loved ones at home.

The Ski und Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000 offers 245 kilometres of piste and 66 lift systems between an altitude of 840 and 3,250 m and entices its visitors with fresh powdery pistes of all difficulties. Untouched white slopes and challenging mogul pistes let every winter sports fan's heart beat faster. The Hintertux Glacier is Austria's only glacier which can be accessed all year round - perfect snow, 365 days a year. 202 km of piste and 66 lifts await you in the entire ski area, between 850 and 3,250 m altitude!

Whether you take the Gefrorenen Wand (The Frozen Wall at 3,250m) 12 km long valley run, test the mogul slope at Olperer (3,476 m) or rather enjoy the deep-snow area at Kaserer (3,093 m), you definitely won't be twiddling your thumbs looking for something to do!

Another highlight is the Glacier Circuit, on which you cover 15,000 metres in altitude and 60 km of downhill runs in one day. On the Penken in Mayrhofen, the Harakiri run awaits you, which is one of the steepest ski runs in Austria with a gradient of 78 percent on average and presents a challenge even for experienced skiers. Rastkogel and Horberg, on the other hand, offer more leisurely ski meadows and moderately difficult slopes for pleasure skiers.

Even boarders will be treated to snow parks with half-pipe, tables, slides and many other exemplary elements on the glacier and at the Penken. Children can burn off steam in the kid's park at the Eggalm. There they will find a snow carousel, a magic carpet and also a snow-tubing run.

Since the 2017/18 season, the new 10-seater single-cable gondola lift Finkenberg I has replaced the old 4-seater gondola lift. It transports 2,400 people per hour in 56 cabins from the valley to the mountain and offers a lot of comfort thanks to shorter journey times, seat heating and Wi-Fi.
