Ski holidays Andorra La Vella - pure variety!
Andorra La Vella (alt)
Andorra La Vella lies 1,050 m above sea level and is in the eastern Pyrenees. It is the highest-located capital city in Europe, and the principality's only city. The Avinguda de Meritxell with its restaurants, hotels, and shops with their inviting window displays form the city centre. The quality of the products and the affordable prices makes this city a top destination for tourists. The short distance to the ski area and the convenience of a capital are combined in Andorra La Vella. The ski resort of Vallnord offers good variety, with its two characteristically different areas, Pal and Arinsal. A total of 91 kilometres of piste up to an altitude of 2,625 m are available. Andorra La Vella has a lot to offer off-piste as well.Vallnord
The diverse ski resort Vallnord presents the counterbalance to the big mega-station Grandvalira. Two very different resorts await you here, which are connected to each other by cable car. One of these is Pal, which offers a dignified atmosphere and lovely forest runs; the other is Arinsal with lots of easier pistes that are good for beginners. Pal is also known for its attractive mountain eating places, which are often clad in wood or natural stone. A further cable car zips up to Pal from the valley just behind Andorra La Vella.Travel Andorra La Vella (alt)
