Ski area Vallnord

A second cable car zips up to Pal from the valley behind Andorra La Vella. The diverse ski resort Vallnord presents the counterbalance to the big mega-station Grandvalira. Two very different resorts await you here, which are connected to each other by cable car. One of these is Pal, which offers a dignified atmosphere and lovely forest runs; the other is Arinsal with lots of easier pistes that are good for beginners. Pal is also known for its attractive mountain eateries, which are often clad in wood or natural stone. A total of ninety kilometres of piste are available in Vallnord. A large portion of these pistes are of a medium level of difficulty, but there are also sufficient easy and difficult pistes. Modern facilities in the ski areas allow approx. one third of all pistes to be topped up with artificial snow.

Après ski Vallnord

Apres ski in Andorra is also very well-known! This shouldn't be confused with Austria's traditional apres ski in ski boots, though. In Andorra La Vella the lively culture, in which Spanish and French influences are combined, plays an important part. There is a lot of dancing and partying going on in numerous bars, attractive restaurants, hip clubs and discos - very pulsating, even without the ski boots!
