Cross-country skiing is by far not as popular in the USA as it is in Europe, however it is developing with the rising number of European tourists.In the midst of the Rocky Mountains lies the resort Beckenridge. Cross-country skiers can look forward to 32 km of trails in the area of the White River National Forest.
More information about cross-country skiing in Breckenridge.Still relatively unknown is the resort Copper Mountain. 25 km of tracks weaving through the national park can be found here. Due to the various different geographical structures in the national park, the area is ideal for both beginners as well as experts. Those who like to go on an evening out will enjoy the diverse night life. In this area of leisure time activities, as well as in all the others, the motto is: The customer is king!
More information about cross-country skiing in Copper Mountain. Also worth a recommendation are the trails around Vail/Beaver Creek over a total length of 35 km. Cross-country enthusiasts will find Beaver Creek and it's ski centre to be a destination worthwhile. The centre is located just above Strawberry Park Express Lifts.
