Location and facilities
The traditional 4-star Hotel Wengener Hof lies about 300 m away from the Wengen Männlichen valley station and is surrounded by the unique mountain world of the Bernese Oberland, nestled into the car-free sun terrace at the foot of the Jungfrau. The centre of Wengen can be reached after approx. 400 m and the train station can be reached after approx. 500 m.Wengen is a car-free holiday resort, so that it can only be reached by train from Lauterbrunnen (approx. 20 min). You can use the public car park Lauterbrunnen (payable locally, as per information in resort). From Wengen train station, guests of the hotel can use the free hotel shuttle (on the day or arrival/departure, upon prio reservation). Alternatively, the hotel can also be reached on foot within a few minutes (approx. 500 m).
General facilities include a reception, lift, Wi-Fi and Internet corner, lounge, restaurant, bar, as well as a ski cellar.
The hotel's own sauna area with Finnish sauna, drinking fountain, rainforest and bucket showers, as well as a relaxation room, can be used for free.
Additionally, you can also use the spa area in the Silberhorn sister hotel for free (approx. 5 min. away by foot), which consists of a Finnish sauna, organic herbal sauna, steam bath, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, Kneipp basin, spa showers, solarium (payable locally), relaxation room as well as a fitness room.
Furthermore, you will also receive a 10-20% discount on ski hire from Alpia Sport in Wengen (as per info in resort).
Rooms
The friendly-furnished rooms are comprised of a bath/wc, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, radio, safe, mini bar (for a fee), tea and coffee-making facilities, and some come with a balcony.Board
The already included half board PLUS consists of a breakfast buffet in the morning, tea, coffee, and cookies in the afternoon (15:00 - 17:00), and a 5-course buffet in the evening.Pets

Important notes
- Access to the spa area in the sister hotel Silberhorn is only permitted to children until 17:00 and only when accompanied by an adult.
- Wengen is a car-free holiday resort and can only be reached by train from Lauterbrunnen.
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children up to an including the age of 5 years as they can travel free when accompanied by a parent. For children travelling alone (e.g. in a ski course), a lift pass must be purchased in resort. Further information can be obtained from the lift ticket office.
