Ski area Saas-Fee

The lift pass "Destinationspass" gives you access to 146 kilometres of piste and 41 lift systems in the whole of Saastal (see ski region). In the local ski area of Saas-Fee, 100 km of piste in all levels of difficulty are offered, giving you limitless fun on the pistes.

The pistes in Saas Valley are able to be used the whole winter, right through from November until Easter: Due to its extremely high altitude, snow security is guaranteed! The valley experiences heavy snowfall and particularly long-lasting sunshine especially late in spring from mid-March.

Beginners are offered ideal conditions on the easy, wide and excellently prepared glacier pistes here. Moreover, they can use 3 special beginner lifts on the outskirts of the area. Cracks will also be challenged and get their money's worth - under the glacier, the "Weiße Perle" and "National" attract experts for some unforgettable and spectacular off-piste fun. The area under the "Längfluh" chairlift attracts fans of unprepared slope moguls, and the former World Cup slope Plattjen, in the piste "Galen", still poses a challenge. A further highlight is the 14 km long "Panorama" run from the 3,500 m high "Mittelallalin Felskinn" to Saas-Fee at 1,800 m. Carvers will enjoy excellently prepared pistes in their territory under the glacier. Free stylers can take advantage of a freshly shaped half-pipe and the boarder cross. Popular night skiing can be taken advantage of once a week, when the pistes in Saas-Grund and Saas-Balen are lit in the evening.

Night skiing Saas-Fee

There is also popular night skiing in the Saas Valley. In "Unter dem Berg", a hamlet in Saas-Grund, there is a small night skiing area at the Ziebel village lift. Night skiing and night tobogganing are possible there on request.

Après ski Saas-Fee

In Saas-Fee you are welcomed for après-ski directly at the run-out of the valley piste. Various bars such as the "Fee Igloo Bar" right next to the Hotel Imseng or the "Black Bull Bar" with its cosy wooden terrace await you with music, delicious drinks and lots of atmosphere. The legendary "Nesti's Ski Bar" with its fancy interior invites you to linger and discover, whereas in "Rudi's Schneebar" you can enjoy regional beers with pop and rock music. In the neighbouring villages of Saas-Grund and Saas-Almagell you will also find a number of après-ski venues near the valley stations.

Those who prefer it quiet and cosy can choose from a variety of rustic cafés and restaurants and indulge in Swiss specialities. More action after skiing is also provided in Saas-Fee: A 6 km long toboggan run leads from the Hannig viewing mountain to the village. An even longer toboggan run can be found on the Kreuzboden in Saas-Grund: it is 11 km long. The impressive via ferrata "Gorge Alpine" leads you through the gorges of Saas-Fee to Saas-Grund (with supervision by experienced mountain guides). Ice climbing courses, taster courses for ski tours, husky fun rides, snowshoe hikes on prepared trails, a bouldering cellar and a bowling alley - there should be a suitable leisure activity for everyone here.

Saas-Fee also offers a very special experience - the Fondue gondola. Whether family gondola with entertainment or pure romance in the candlelight gondola - unique memories are created here, especially for adventurous gourmets. The "Aqua Allalin" leisure centre with indoor pool, sauna area, steam bath, outdoor hot tub and fitness area is perfect for rounding off the evening.

Snowpark: Fun Park Morenia Saas-Fee

The extremely snow-sure ski area Saas-Fee offers a wide variety of different pistes to cater to all skiers and boarders skills. Not only that: two different snow parks attract freestylers of all levels - be it beginner or pro. In the Morenia area, at approx. 2,600 m altitude lies the "Freestyle Park" with various kicker lines, boxes, rails, a super pipe and a half-pipe. The chill-out zone is perfect for cooling down.

Beginners can take a detour to the beginner park at Stafelwald. Three lines of different skill levels are perfect for practising the fist tricks.

Just below the Kreuzboden, in the ski area of Saas-Grund, there is another fun park to be found: with its kickers and rails it lets all freestylers' hearts beat faster.
