Ski area Davos Klosters Mountains

The Davos Klosters Mountains lift pass allows you to take advantage of absolute skiing enjoyment on 270 kilometres of piste (incl. ski routes) in the 5 ski areas Parsenn, Jakobshorn, Madrisa, Rinerhorn and Pischa. At an altitude between between 810 and 2,844 m, pistes covering all levels of difficulty and 36 modern lifts provide a great deal of variety. In addition, there is the especially high reliability of snow, allowing fun in the snow from November through April!

One highlight is the 12-kilometre descent from the Weissfluh summit to Küblis with a difference in altitude of 2,034 metres. There are also numerous first-class freeride areas, floodlit pistes and, for experts, a number of challenging black runs. The area is also a paradise for freestylers: national and international competitions are regularly held in the area's fun parks.

The Jakobshorn - a snowboard mecca for years - with the superpipe on the Bolgen deserves special mention. But the other areas also have kickers, rails and a boardercross with kicker - there really is nothing left to be desired! The Pischa area has almost exclusively freeride areas and is one of the largest in Switzerland.

For families the sunny Madrisa area is most appealing to ski. Here the adults can power out on the pistes, whilst the children can enjoy first-class child care facilities.

Since a few years, the modern lift started operation instead of the first part of the Jakobshorn lift, and the valley and summit station were both newly constructed. The comfortable lift is able to transport 100 people and offers a higher level of comfort.

Night skiing Klosters

There are several places in Switzerland where you can still go skiing at night. The Davos Klosters ski resort is one such night skiing area. In Davos, the piste on the Rinerhorn is floodlit for night skiing every Wednesday and Friday between 19:00 and 22:30. Night tobogganing is also possible every Wednesday and Friday from 19:00 to 22:30 on the spectacular toboggan run. Another piste for night skiing is located at the Selfrange ski lift in Klosters, which is open for skiers and snowboarders on Tuesdays between 7 and 9 pm and on Fridays between 7.30 and 9.30 pm. In addition to night skiing, Nordic sports enthusiasts can also practise cross-country skiing at night. For this purpose, an approximately 2.5 km long trail is illuminated in Davos from Monday to Friday from 18:30 to 20:30. Cross-country skiers also have the opportunity to cross-country ski at night on the 3.2 km trail in Klosters every Tuesday and Thursday until 20:30. And best of all: cross-country skiing is free of charge throughout the region.

Snowpark: JatzPark Klosters

Jakobshorn has been considered a freestyle mecca since the late 80s, for example, the "Bolgenschanze" was opened specifically as a snowboard hotel as early as 1993. But the snowpark and the superpipe are the real stars on the Jakobshorn. The "JatzPark" is located right next to the "Jatz Junior" lift and offers everything a freestyler's heart desires. At an altitude of 2,300 metres, the park offers three different lines: medium jib, medium slopestyle and pro slopestyle. Different kickers, such as the 18 m Big Air, Wallride Spine, Tractor Tire Bonk or rails in designs such as the Elbowrail or the 6 m Straight Pipeline - in the "JatzPark" everyone can give free rein to their creativity and take their tricks to the next level.

If you still feel like partying after a perfect freestyle day full of adrenaline, it's best to stop off directly at the "Jatzhütte", which flaunts a whirlpool and sun terrace and regularly hosts international DJs so that you can end the successful day in style to the finest tunes.

The special highlight on the Jakobshorn is the 120 m long superpipe. It is located on the Bolgen in the valley of Davos. You can also use the pipe for training several times a week in the evening thanks to floodlighting. Regular maintenance ensures that you will always find the halfpipe perfectly prepared.

In addition to the freestyle paradise on the Jakobshorn, there is also a small snow park on the Rinerhorn and one on the Selfrangalift, as well as ski and boardercross trails on the Parsenn and Madrisa. So if you're looking for decent freestyle fun, Davos-Klosters is the place to be.
