Cross-country Interlaken

Information on cross-country skiing

7 km Cross-country trails (in km):

In Interlaken and the surrounding villages there are 122 km of cross-country tracks, and another 30 km are available in Grindelwald and Lauterbrunn. Most routes are easy, so that even beginners can try out their first cross-country tours. In Interlaken you can choose between a 1 km long cross-country track directly in the centre and a 6 km long round-track at the golf course. In the neighbouring village Böningen you can also find a 5 km long round-track.

With a length of 12 km, the "Justistal" trail nearby Schwanden (Sigriswil) is one of the longest tracks in the region. Especially recommendable are the 5 km long floodlit track in the Gletscherschlucht of Grindelwald at an altitude of 1,000 m, as well as the cross-country track on the Lombach Alp, in the Hichtal over Habkern, which will guide you through beautiful, untouched nature.

Equipment for both classic and skating style can be hired in resort.
