Location and facilities
The exclusive 5-star Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof is located quietly yet centrally, approx. 150 m away from the resort centre of the famous glacier village Grindelwald. The Jungfrau lift can be reached within 150 m, the First lift in approx. 350 m. The longest toboggan run from Faulhorn to Grindelwald ends directly at the hotel when snow conditions are good. You can use the hotel's own shuttle to and from Grindelwald railway station (with advance reservation) on arrival and departure as well as to the Firstbahn mountain railway free of charge (as per info in resort).The facilities of this traditional first-class hotel include a reception, lobby, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, bar and a ski and boot room. A paid parking garage and a paid e-charging station are also available subject to availability.
You can relax in the 650 m² wellness area with indoor pool, steam bath, Finnish sauna, bio sauna and relaxation room. In the beauty centre (on request), massages are offered for a fee. You also receive a 20% discount on wellness services in the hotel (see information on site, reservation before arrival is recommended).
Board
The half-board included in the price comprises a rich breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu in the evening, special children's menus are available on request. In addition, you will find a fruit plate in your room upon arrival and receive one bottle of water (0.3 l) per person per day in your room. At Christmas (24/12) a special dinner is already included, on New Year's Eve you will be served a special 5-course dinner. In the periods 09/12 - 16/12/2022 and 02/04 - 16/04/2023 a romantic 5-course candlelight dinner on the day of arrival is included for you 1 x per stay.Pets

Important notes
- Access to the spa area is permitted from 16 years.
- Access to the indoor pool is only permitted to children if accompanied by an adult.
- Children up to the age of 5 will not receive a lift pass voucher as they can use the lifts for free when accompanied by a parent. All children using the lifts independently (e.g. when taking part in lessons), have to acquire a lift pass locally. Further information at the lift office.
