Ski area Tatranská Lomnica

In the Tatranská Lomnica ski area a total of approx. 12 km of piste are open for you, connected by 9 lifts. Here, you can enjoy skiing on Slovakia's highest ski routes. At an altitude of 2,632 m, the Lomnický štít peak sits enthroned above the ski area. Tatranská Lomnica offers Slovakia's longest and steepest runs, which are, however, only recommended to experienced skiers.

A Freeride Zone is available at the Lomnické Seldo. Beginners will find gentler slopes and children can look forward to a snowtubing run. Hilly landscapes and numerous untouched forests make this part of Europe a natural adventure.

Night skiing Tatranská Lomnica

The Tatranská Lomnica ski area offers winter sports enthusiasts two pistes that can be used for night skiing. On the slope of the Lomica peak both beginners and advanced skiers can let off steam while skiing in the dark: There is one easy and one medium piste which are both prepared regularly and can even be covered in artificial snow, if necessary. All in all there a 2.6 km of night skiing pistes which are illuminated by floodlight. So if you have not had enough of skiing during the day, you can still let off steam after nightfall.

Après ski Tatranská Lomnica

The small but fine selection of restaurants in Tatranská Lomnica offers traditional Slovakian cuisine and invites you to a cosy end of a day on the piste. A large umbrella bar is located at the gondola's valley station. The Humno Music Pub, an unusual bar with a Cadillac hanging from the ceiling, can be found in the resort centre.

If you want to stay sporty in the evening, you can look forward to the 2.5 km long, floodlit toboggan run, or take a ride on a horse-drawn sleigh or a ski bobs. The "Aqua City" water park in the nearby Poprad does not only offer plenty opportunity for swimming and relaxing, but also a beautiful panoramic view over the High Tatra. The dripstone cave in Bela is another highlight in the surrounding area of Tatranská Lomnica.
