Ski holidays Hemsedal - the Scandinavian Alps!
Hemsedal
Hemsedal is one of the most popular Norwegian winter sports resorts. The ski area's highest point is just under 1,500 m, making it the highest point in northern Europe that is reachable with ski lifts. As such, Hemsedal has the nickname "Scandinavian Alps". Pistes for all skill levels, as well as Norway's largest children's ski area await skiers. The 2,000-person resort, located between Oslo and Bergen, also offers a variety of apres ski locations and restaurants, depending whether you want to party or go out a bit more stylishly after a day on the piste. Comprehensive leisure time activities round off the selection - including trend sports such as paragliding and snow-mobiling or romantic dogsled tours and snow shoe hikes.Hallingdal
The approx. 150 km long Hallingdal is situated in the Buskerud district in Eastern Norway. The landscape is exceptionally diverse with numerous tributary valleys, crystal-clear lakes, extensive forests and wide, snow-covered slopes up to 2,000 m. The classic travel routes from Oslo in the south to the north-western fjords run right through the region. The mountain trains that connect Oslo with the western mountains also run through the valley and ensure good accessibility to the individual towns. The ski region offers everything necessary for a successful winter holiday: prepared and varied pistes, a wide cross-country ski track network, picturesque lodges with direct access to the ski area and an exemplary selection for families. The region also offers quite a bit for apres ski fans!Travel Hemsedal
