Cross-country Val di Fassa (Dolomites)

With its 80 km of trail the Val di Fassa is a great destination for winter holidays for cross-country skiing fans! Beginners can take part in courses in a school in Canazei and advanced skiers can enjoy the stunning views from the high run at the Passo San Pellegrino and on the Ciampac at an altitude of over 2,000 m. the tours of Canazei, Soreghes (2.8 km) and Ciasates (1.5 km) are free of charge. Highlight of the skiing holidays season is the annual Marcialonga-run on every last Sunday in January. Every year a lot of passive, as well as active, cross-country skiing fans come to watch the 70 kilometres race from the Fassa- into the Val di Fiemme. 220 km of trail can be accessed due to the connection to neighbouring Valdi Fiemme!
