Cross-country Ortisei

Information on cross-country skiing

12.5 km Cross-country trails (in km):

Val Gardena offers cross-country skiers a true paradise. The stretches offer not only a wonderful panorama, but are also suitable for all skill levels! A total of 133 km awaits cross-country fans in Val Gardena. Above all, the beautiful location on the sun-drenched high meadow at Schlern Massif makes Seiser Alm one of the most popular and best cross-country areas in South Tyrol. All in all, the trails are rather challenging and challenge sporty cross-country skiers.

But also less-experienced skiers will, for example, find the 1 km long trail on Minert Ring in Ortisei is great for some training. From here you can get to a 7 km long trail alongside the brookside. Additionally, there is a 4.5 km long trail for beginner's and more experienced cross country skiers starting on the Panider Sattel directly in St. Ulrich, leading to Castelrotto.

If you really want to go up, try the 23 km long high-altitude trail at Monte Pana (1,640 - 1,790 m). Here you will also find the Nordic centre. Though, a cross-country trail fee applies in Santa Cristina Valgardena.
