Ski holidays Champoluc - skiing in a magnificent mountain scenery!
Champoluc
Overlooked by the imposing Monte Rosa massif and not far from the famous four-thousand-metre peaks of the Valais Alps and the Mont Blanc group lies Champoluc. The town is considered the tourist centre of the Aosta Valley, where both culture and party can be found. Gressoney-Saint Jean still exudes an original, idyllic charm. Although it is now well adapted to tourism, the villages in the centre of the Monte Rosa ski area have managed to preserve their typical Walser houses. Off-piste fun is provided by various restaurants and bars and also the ice-skating rink. Exciting action can be found in ice climbing or paragliding.Monte Rosa
The resorts in the Monte Rosa ski region offer all ski enthusiasts 175 kilometres of piste and 39 lifts at up to 3,275 m. In all of Italy there is no other ski area that is more well-known for its off-piste terrain and diverse heli-ski tours. Experienced winter athletes in particular will be spoilt for choice. With restaurants, cafes, ski lodges, numerous bars and night clubs, the resorts also offer lively apres ski.Travel Champoluc
