Ski area Winterberg

The "Skiliftkarussell Winterberg" (lift pass of the same name) aki area offers you incredible skiing fun on 20 km of piste in the six areas of Bremberg, Herrloh, Kappe, Kahler Asten and Poppenberg. The little ones and beginners alike will have the chance to try out their skis on the practice slopes, or perhaps they'd like to really get going on the toboggan runs! The slalom run, the steepest slope north of the Alps, is definitely a challenge even for real experts.

In the "Ski Carousel Altastenberg" (lift pass of the same name) you can take advantage of 11 km of accessible and idyllic pistes. The little ones will find a magic carpet lift, and adults will be taken up to the FIS-slalom run by its own lift. Around Winterberg, you can experience diverse days of skiing in even more diverse ski areas!

The "Wintersport-Arena Card" gives you access to approx. 66 km of diverse piste at Postwiese Neuastenberg, the ski area Willingen, the ski carousel Altastenberg and Winterberg, Snow World in Züschen, the winter sports park Sahnehang, Bödefeld Hunau as well as the Ruhrquelle ski area.

Starting operation in 2016/17, a new 4-person chairlift with conveyor belt cares for more comfort and shorter waiting times at Käppchen. The 6-person chairlift at Brembergkopf was also equipped with a conveyor belt.

Night skiing Winterberg

Although it is located in the Central German Uplands, the Skiliftkarussel Winterberg in northrine-westphalian Sauerland offers the broades night skiing possibilities in Germany. Night owls will definitely get their money's worth: a total of 9 lifts and 2 conveyor belts extend their operation times until after sunrise, so that you can use unbelievable 8 km of flood-lit pistes on 14 slopes. All of them offer a snow-making system, which gives them a high guarantee for snow. There is no limit for fans of night skiing on the mountains Herrloh, Poppelberg, Bremberg and Sürenberg. Additionally, many mountain huts open until late in the evening so that dining and partying is also possible. Those who do not want to miss out on all this fun should visit the Skiliftkarussel Winterberg every Tuesday and Friday from 18:30 to 22:00.

Après ski Winterberg

Evenings in Winterberg really get going amongst the rustic taverns, hip bars, and numerous ski huts. Those who really want to party shouldn't miss out on the ''Dorf Alm'', the younger crowd gathers at the club ''Tenne''. The Irish pub ''The Blackwater'' is also worth a visit. With around 45 ski huts and over 40 bars, clubs, and restaurants, you certainly won't get bored in this winter sport paradise. ''Möppi's Hütte'' and the ski hut ''Rauher Busch,'' which is highly recommended by floodlight, are classics!

For a cosier atmosphere, try a coffee in the ''Café Engemann',' or an exquisite meal in the ''Hexenhaus''. The who want to marvel at the beautiful mountain backdrop should eat at the Panorama Restaurant. Whether enjoying a casual and relaxed evening with a glass of wine, or a hearty snack and thorough après ski late into the night, there is something for everyone!

Snowpark: Shreadland Snowpark Winterberg

The Shreadland Snowpark is located at Postwiese in Neuastenberg, only a few minutes away from Winterberg and offers beginners and also experienced riders a unique practise area north of the Alps. Besides an easy line with straight box, -rail, -tube and -kicker, there is also a jib line with flat boxes, tubes of various lengths and variations, as well as a number of straight & down rails. If this is not enough, there is also a pro line with a 12 m down rail, rainbow box and numerous further obstacles.
