Cross-country Todtnau
The Todtnauberg cross-country skiing area is extremely diverse for its size and challenges the endurance of beginners and experts alike. The network comprises around 53 kilometres of trails, many of which start directly in the village. The Stübenbachloipe (3.7 km), the Kapellenloipe (12.1 km) or the Hornloipe (2.5 km) above the village are suitable for beginners. The short Panorama Trail (13.6 km) over the Stübenwasen and the Notschreipass, on the other hand, is one of the most demanding single trails in the Black Forest. It is double-tracked and also designed for skating. The long panorama trail leads endurance athletes on 21.7 km through the forest and over mountain ranges with great views.
You will find an even larger network of cross-country ski trails around the Feldberg. It comprises approx. 80 km, of which approx. 20 km are suitable for skating style. The tracks are regularly groomed and offer some sporting highlights. In the Feldberg area, for example, you will find two of the highest cross-country ski trails in Baden-Württemberg.
