Cross-country Badenweiler
The wonderfully, hilly landscape of the southern Black Forest is ideal for sporty cross-country tours. In the cross-country region "Lipple-Kreuzweg", where Badenweiler runs into the Wiesen Valley, there are 6 trails with a total of approx. 53 km length, which are perfectly maintained by the "Skiclub Malsburg-Marzell". The Egerten and the Gleichen trails offer intermediate difficulty and can be managed by most Nordic skiers. The Meierkopf and the Nonnenmattweiher trails however, should only be tackled by more experienced skiers. Beginners are well catered for on the Bergle trail (3.1 km) and the 3.3 km long connection trail between Egerten and Nonnenmattweiher. All trails are interconnected and can be used for classic and skating style.
A larger network of tracks can be found around the Feldberg. It covers approx. 80 km in length, of which approx. 27 km are suited for skating style. The trails are regularly maintained and provide for a real sporty highlight. In the Feldberg area there are for instance, two of the highest located trails in Baden-Württemberg.
