Location
The modern Club Med - Val Thorens Sensations resort is located in the centre of Val Thorens and is directly on the ski piste, which runs through the complex like a tunnel (ski-in & ski-out). The accommodation has impressive architecture that allows light to flood through the building and offers a unique panoramic view across the mountain scenery of the French High Alps.Facilities
The accommodation's comfortable facilities include a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, gourmet lounge, bar, lounge, a ski room and parking spaces (for a fee).In addition, a steam bath, jacuzzi and fitness room, as well as a climbing wall, can be used. Diverse sports courses and activities can also be chosen (offers vary, as per info in resort).
Furthermore, depending on your level of skill, you can take part in a free 5 day group ski or snowboard course at the resort (Mon - Fri, as per info in resort, free-skiing on the day before departure). Ski and snowboard hire is possible at the resort (for a fee). For children (4 - 17 years) there is a free childcare service (as per info in resort).
Board
The breakfast buffet, midday meal and evening meal in the main restaurant or in the resort's gourmet lounge (prior reservation necessary) are all included in the holiday price. In the ski room there is a take-away area with snacks, to-go coffee and soft drinks. In addition, alcohol-free and alcoholic drinks, such as water, fruit juice, soft drinks, beer, wine and some different spirits and cocktails, are included and are available all day at the bar, in the restaurants and from the vending machines. Champagne and various exclusive spirits and wines can be purchased in resort for a fee (as per info in resort).Pets
