Among the impressive 119 kilometres of trails in the entire 3 Vallées ski region, cross-country skiers will find a fantastic network of trails of all levels of difficulty in the traditional French village of Saint Martin at an altitude of between 1,450 and 1,850 metres. Five cross-country ski trails, covering around 25 kilometres and groomed for both classic and skating styles, enchant winter sports enthusiasts with their picturesque route along the Doron de Belleville river. Beginners should start with the easiest trail, "Les Roseaux", which is marked green in France, and then work their way up to the blue-marked "Preyerand". The two more challenging red trails "Au fil du Doron" and "Téton" are available for advanced cross-country skiers.
