As the highest ski resort in Europe, Val Thorens offers guaranteed snow from the end of November to the beginning of May at an altitude of 2,300 metres. You will also find the longest piste in the region with a length of 12 km and a difference in altitude of 1,300 m.
The valley around the village of Courchevel is one of the best-equipped ski resorts in the world today. The efficient cable car takes you up to the summit of La Saulire (2,738 m). Here, alpine skiers can also enjoy one of the longest pistes - "Les Creux" - as well as a deep black extreme piste from the summit down to Courchevel. The "Liberty Rides", the particularly difficult, unprepared runs for experts and freeriders, are a highlight.
Méribel, located in the heart of the ski region, is the ideal place for skiers who want to explore the entire piste area of the 3 Vallées. There are numerous kilometres of pistes on both sides of the valley. But the best thing about the 3 Vallées is that all the valleys are connected by ski lifts, so you don't have to take off your skis! Truly unlimited skiing fun!
