Ski area Courchevel

With the "Vallée de Courchevel" lift pass you have access to a ski area with 150 km of diverse pistes which has a lot new aspects to offer. Several lifts have been extended in the meantime: the 6-person chairlift "La Forêt" with covers replaces the old 4-person gondola, and the lift "Aiguille du Fruit" was also renewed. The 10-person "Grangettes" gondola, which connects Courchevel 1550 with 1850, will be redesigned this season, cutting travel time in half.

Numerous green and blue pistes offer beginners a wonderful chance to try out and get to love skiing. The pistes and lessons are to be found rather in the lower and more forested areas, which offers protection against wind and snow. But also the more advanced and free riders will find perfect conditions higher up the mountain: The red and black pistes offer many opportunities for fun and diversity. For a real kick of adrenaline we recommend the run down steep mountain side at the Saulire. The "Family Park" snow park on the Verdons lift is also very suitable for beginners. There is also a Western Ski Park for younger guests at the Ariondaz lift.

For pros and experts we recommend the upgrade to the "Les 3 Vallées" lift pass (see ski region).

In the tourist office, as well as in many mountain railway stations, you have access to Wi-Fi hotspots. You can also use the "Les 3 Vallées App" to find out about piste and ski lift openings/closings and the local weather at any time. Would you like to meet up for lunch at the hut? Use the app to share your location and see exactly where your friends and family are in the ski area. You also receive information and safety notifications directly on your smartphone and, in the event of an accident, the nearest rescue service can be alerted with just one click.

While you can spend a rather quiet form après-ski in many bars and restaurants in Courchevel 1550, further up the mountain, in Courchevel 1650 and 1850, night owls and other party animals will find what they are looking for. The fantastic choice of bars and clubs leaves no wish unfulfilled. Partying and dancing is possible until way into the early morning hours.

In the elegant part of Courchevel 1850 you will find shopping galleries, gourmet restaurants, fitness studios, spa facilities and so much more. Nature lovers will also find much to their taste here, as for instance snowshoe hikes on 17 km of hiking trails or tobogganing along the 2 km long flood-lit run from Courchevel 1850 to 1550.

Snowpark: Family Park Courchevel

Located in the 3 Vallées, Courchevel offers a great park for freestyle fan with the "Family Park". Situated directly on the "Verdons" piste the park offers a great basis which is ideal for both beginners and pros. Big Air Bags, rails, boxes, kickers, boardercross - there is something here for everyone. A special highlight is the park's flood-light system, which offers practice sessions even when the sun has already set.

For children there is also the "Western Park", a cowboy and Native American styled area which ensures a lot of fun for the little ones.

In the rest of the 3 Vallées there are also many more options for freestylers to try. In Méribel there awaits you the spectacular "DC Area 43 Snow Park" and also the local Val Thorens snow park is a good one to try out.
