Ski holidays Whistler - the Canadian Dream!
Whistler
North-east from Vancouver lies the legendary winter sports resort Whistler. The venue of the 2010 Winter Olympics lies at the feet of both Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain, in one of the most snow-secure areas of British Columbia. The car-free centre offers a number of shopping opportunities, and international speciality restaurants invite you in for a feast. In the evening, you can meet up in the bars and discos and mix in with the locals and skiing pros. Almost all of the accommodations in Whistler lie within walking distance of the centrally-located lift stations. Whoever is in need of a time out from the pistes of the largest ski area in North America can find numerous alternatives. Zip-lining, snowmobile tours, bungee jumping, dog-sledding, or the enormous wellness oasis Scandinave Spa are only a few examples of the leisure activities one can take part in.Whistler-Blackcomb
Whistler is located approx. 115 km north of Vancouver, at an altitude of 670 m. From the resort you have perfect access to the Whistler-Blackcomb ski area, with a total of 33 km² of terrain - the largest ski area in North America.Travel Whistler
