Ski area Arlberg
The ascent is straightforward on the outskirts of Zürs using either gondolas or chairlifts. The highlight of the ski area: the runs of the "White Ring" in Lech-Zürs are among the most beautiful in the Alps, wide pistes with breathtaking views alternate with sporting challenges - after all, you cover 5,500 metres in altitude on 22 kilometres of pistes.
The Lech-Zürs ski area offers terrain for every skiing ability. Beginners will find blue pistes on almost every slope down to the valley. Advanced and deep-snow skiers can look forward to a variety of unprepared ski routes. Freestylers have the Snowpark Lech and other snowparks in St. Anton at their disposal.
With the "Arlberg" lift pass, you can choose between a total of 85 modern mountain lifts. 302 kilometres of pistes of all levels of difficulty are prepared for you, while the approx. 200 km of unprepared off-piste runs are reserved for experts. In addition to Lech Zürs and Warth-Schröcken, the pistes in St. Anton (with St. Christoph, Stuben and Klösterle) and on the Sonnenkopf are also open to you.
Après ski Zürs
Relaxation and romance are not neglected in Zürs either. Almost all accommodation has spacious spa areas. The ski/local bus and, later in the day, the "James" taxi service take guests from Zürs to Lech in just a few minutes and they can enjoy all the leisure activities on offer there: Ice skating, tobogganing, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, tennis, squash, snowtubing and much more.
Snowpark: Snowpark Lech Zürs
Lech Zürs am Arlberg offers a fun park for all skill levels with the Snowpark Lech. Located right next to the Schlegelkopf chairlift at an altitude of 1,650 metres, the park provides ideal conditions for snowboarders and freestylers. Beginners, advanced and pros will find good conditions to hone their tricks. The 4-hectare area offers 17 obstacles in an easy, rail and kicker line. The Snowpark Lech crew ensures that the obstacles are in the ideal shape every day. The park's varied offer consists of 2 rails, 7 boxes (including a 9 metre double kinked box), various kickers and a kicker bank. With 10 elements, the advanced run is the most varied. As a bonus, it even includes a marvellous view of Lech.
An insider tip on the Arlberg is the "Stanton Park". The excellent location next to two ski lifts allows for many runs without long queues. If you want to take a break, you can easily do so on the Rendl terrace with bars and restaurants. The park offers a pro line, a medium kicker line and a jib line. As obstacles, freestylers are offered various kickers, boxes, rails and some changing elements such as wallride, shrek and mushroom bubble.
The snow park in the Sonnenkopf ski area offers ideal conditions for beginners. The beginner fun park offers 5 beginner and medium park elements and a kicker line with jumps between 3-5 metres. Youngsters in particular can gain their first freestyle experience here in peace and quiet.
