Ski area Hochzeiger
The sunny slopes on the Sechszeiger are particularly beautiful. There are also numerous freeriding opportunities on the treeless mountainsides. Things get more challenging at the Rotmoosbahn: this is where the mogul pistes, ski routes, race and speed measurement routes are located. The 1.5 km long Zirbenfall descent, which is the most difficult descent in the ski area with a decline of 80% and a difference in altitude of 945 metres, also offers a special challenge. Freestylers can let off steam in the fun park at the Hochzeiger middle station. Night owls will have fun on the 6 km-long toboggan run, which is floodlit once a week in the evening.
The ski area is not only suitable for advanced skiers, but also for families. The extras for families lie in the excellent offers of the ski schools for children: transfers from all the villages in the valley to the piste, children's ski school and ski kindergarten, a piste rules trail as well as child-friendly mountain huts and the Kinderland, a separate practice area just for children with a children's carousel, warm-up stage and the Pitzi Express.
Après ski Hochzeiger
For activities away from the piste, the many winter hiking trails on which you can explore the Pitztal are particularly popular. One highlight is the impressive ice waterfalls, a Mecca for ice climbing. Depending on the weather and temperature, up to 45 ice climbing routes are available. Several toboggan runs invite you to enjoy a fun toboggan ride. The longest toboggan run (6 km) can be easily reached with the gondola lift on the Hochzeiger and leads down from the Zeiger restaurant - once a week in the evening thanks to lighting. The restaurants in the villages also invite you to enjoy cosy evenings.
Snowpark Hochzeiger: Hochzeiger Snowpark
The Hochzeiger Snowpark is perfectly shaped with easy and medium difficulty levels. Both beginners and advanced riders can let off steam here and whizz over boxes and kickers.
The park is located above the Hochzeiger middle station at approx. 2,250 metres. This means there are no long access routes, but a good and even rhythm between the runs. Adrenaline rushes and lots of fun await snowboarders and freeskiers!
