Waidring (Steinplatte)

The tranquil town of Waidring (778 m) lies at the foot of the Loferer Steinberge mountains. Buses are available every day, to take you to the other towns around the Pillersee Valley. Waidring impresses with its traditional charm. The adjacent ski area Steinplatte is known for its perfect snow conditions, combined with a high number of sunshine hours. There is also a large offer of recreational activities the town has prepared for you. One attraction is the "Biatron", a unique landscape of snow constructions, which was built in 2005 in the scope of the Biathlon World Cup.

Pillerseetal

Pillersee Valley, with its five idyllic holiday resorts, is situated in close proximity to Bavaria in north-eastern Tyrol. The region with the same-named lake is a popular year-round destination, which attracts guests with its diverse landscape and varied offers. Nestled in the Kitzbühel Alps, the three ski areas in the Pillerseetal not only astound with their diverse offer of pistes, but also with their legendary snow security.
