Location
The modern Explorer Hotel is located approx. 150 m from the centre of Umhausen in the front of the Ötztal valley. A ski bus stop is approx. 50 m from the accommodation. After approx. 20 km you can reach the Sölden ski area.The next access to the cross-country ski trail can be found after approx. 150 m.Facilities
The hotel has a reception, lift, Wi-Fi, Internet corner, lounge, breakfast room, bar, ski cellar and parking spaces (for a fee, subject to availability).The spa area with sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin, as well as the fitness room can be used free of charge.In the periods 07/12 - 21/12/2024, 11/01 - 25/01/2025 and 22/03 - 05/04/2025 the Happy Family Weeks take place (offer from Ötztal Tourismus). When staying 7 or more nights, children born in 2019 or later and at least 4 years old receive 5-day ski lessons for free and all little ones ages 2 - 4 receive free childcare for 5 days (children must be nappy-free, only with valid lift pass, lunchtime supervision for a fee, registration on site, registration at all Widi's Kids Club ski schools). Children aged 6 or under also sleep free of charge in the hotel during these periods. All details of services are subject to change and the exact conditions can be obtained from the TVB on site. Only valid if the entire holiday period falls within the promotional period.
