Ski holidays Trins - Holidays in the best location!
Trins
The Gschnitztal lies in a side valley of the Tyrolean Wipptal. Nestled between the peaks of Blaser, Habicht, Gschnitzer Tribulaun and Pferscher Tribulaun, Trins (1,233 m) is a haven of unspoilt nature for those seeking peace and quiet. As small and idyllic as Trins and its neighbouring villages may be, their location is just as favourable for winter sports enthusiasts. After all, it is only around 30 kilometres from Trins to the metropolis of Innsbruck - and therefore to the ski world all around. The Gschnitztal itself is also a paradise for ski tourers and cross-country skiers. After an active day, you will get your money's worth with the tourist office's activity programme: torchlight and snowshoe hikes, curling or moonlight tobogganing will make your winter holiday an unforgettable experience!
Wipp Valley
The Wipp Valley lies in the heart of Tyrol and stretches from Innsbruck to the famous Brenner pass - hence, right down, close to South Tyrol. The valley offers a great number of idyllic side valleys and is a great recreational destination for many Innsbruck inhabitants. This has also leaked through to the tourists and so the area has become a popular holiday destination - both in summer and winter. The landscape, with it's impressive peaks along the main Alpine ridge is a true sporting paradise - for hikers, mountain bikers and of course for skiers. The closeness to the Innsbruck region is an extra benefit.Travel Trins
