Cross-country Stadl an der Mur

The Murau-Kreischberg region has a network of cross-country ski trails of about 40 km. There are trails in different levels of difficulty for beginners as well as professionals. In Stadl an der Mur you can access the Murtal trail. On a length of approx. 16 km, it leads across the meadows along the Mur cycle path and the railway line. The trail is classified as moderately difficult and takes about 4 hours to run at normal speed.

The Kreischberg ski area also has a great 2.5 km long high altitude trail across the plateau. Up here there is not only a good guarantee for snow, you can also enjoy the fabulous view along the way. The track is prepared in classic or skating style and runs partly through shady stone pine woods on a length of 1,800 m.
