Cross-country St. Ulrich am Pillersee

The Pillerseetal has long since ceased to be an insider tip for cross-country skiing fans! The cross-country skiing centre offers world championship cross-country ski trails. Every year, the nearby village of Hochfilz is the venue of the Biathlon World Cup. Several beautiful circuit trails lead across the Pillerseetal and around the lake of the same name. You can look forward to a total of 110 km of cross-country ski trails! In addition to the classic cross-country ski trail, all resorts also have specially prepared trails in skating style. Cross-country ski instructors and service stations are also at your disposal. The fee is € 6 per day or € 29 per week.

Nearby Waidring is a racing skate track, which has a high degree of difficulty and is only intended for skaters. The "Dandlerloipe" trail is the longest in the region and leads over a distance of 10 km from Fieberbrunn to Hochfilzen. St. Ulrich am Pillersee has a total of 35 km of trails of easy to medium difficulty. The highlight for every cross-country skier is certainly the weekly guest biathlon, which takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between December and Easter on the "Dorfloipe" trail in Hochfilzen.
