Ski area 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena

The lift pass "3 Länder Freizeit-Arena" grants you access to a total of approx. 171 kilometres of piste and 61 lifts: apart from St. Johann in Tyrol/Oberndorf, the ski areas Erpfendorf, Pillersee/Buchensteinwald, Kirchdorf, Steinplatte Waidring, Winklsmoosalm - Reit im Winkl as well as the Heutal lifts Unken and the Lofer/Almwelt mountain railway are included in the lift pass.

St. Johann is located between the famous Kitzbüheler Horn - here lovingly called "St. Johann's Horn" - and the Wilder Kaiser. Due to its good northern location, the pistes are also very snow-sure in spring. Additionally, at total of 90% of pistes can be covered in artificial snow. The 40 kilometres of piste in St. Johann in Tyrol-Oberndorf stretch from 659 m - 1,604 m in altitude and can be easily reached with 10 lifts. The peak of the Harschbichl can be reached via 3 different gondolas, which make their way up various sides of the mountain.

Families and beginners will definitely get their money's worth here, primarily because of the easy to intermediate pistes. The ski area does offer something special for experienced skiers, though, like the black, 3 km long Piste 7 (FIS-Abfahrt) run from Penzing to Oberndorf.
