Location and facilities
The cosy 4-star Hotel Almfrieden lies at the foot of the Dachstein, approx. 500 m away from the resort centre of Ramsau. The ski area Schladming-Plainai can be reached after approx. 7 km via the free ski bus, which stops approx. 200 m from the hotel. Directly across from the house there is a cross-country track, which you can access comfortably approx. 100 m away.The facilities of the family-run accommodation include a reception, lobby, lift, Wi-Fi, common room, children's playroom, hunting and fireplace parlour, as well as a breakfast room, dining hall, restaurant, bar, ski and boor room and terrace. The hotel holds all information regarding skiing and cross-country and even has a ski and waxing station available. Free parking spaces can be found at the hotel (upon availability).
The spa area with steam bath, sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, jacuzzi, and herb garden with Kneipp walkway can be used for free. The solarium can be used for a fee.
Board
The already included half-board comprises a rich energy breakfast with organic corner and a 4-course evening menu of choice with salad buffet. Every week an Ennstal delicacy evening or gala dinner take place and there is a special children's menu for the little ones. On Christmas (24/12) and New Year's Eve special dinners are served.Pets

Important notes
- Access to the spa area is only permitted to children ages 3 and up and only when accompanied by an adult.
- Children up to and incl. 5 years will not receive a lift pass voucher. Instead, should children in this age range need to use the lifts, a "Minicard" (lift pass) must be purchased in resort (max. €30 per child). Further information can be found at the lift office.
- When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds

Reductions
