Ski area 4-Berge-Skischaukel

With the lift pass ''Ski amadé,'' you have the choice between 5 ski regions, 760 km of piste, and 270 lifts (see ski region).

Schaldming, centre of the Dachstein-Tauern region, is one of Austria's major ski destinations and also known to many as the venue of the Alpine Ski World Championship and lots of further international ski races. The 4 mountains interconnected ski area, with the local mountains Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm offer a total of 123 km of piste and 50 lifts. Many deep powder snow areas and snowparks also inspire boarders and freestylers. The family and child-orientated offers are plenty and beginners will feel happy along the Höfi-Express.

If you want to review your day on the piste you can log on to Skiline with your lift pass number and see your used services online, such as accessed lifts, the amount of kilometres you skied or how many metres in altitude you passed.

Night skiing Pichl

Night skiing is also offered regularly in the Austrian resort Pichl. With its piste 33, the Hochwurzen ski area offers an approx. 3 km illuminated valley run. You can also stop in the huts located at the piste until late. If you want to go night skiing, a night pass has to be acquired in resort as it is not included in the regular lift pass. With a valid lift pass for Planai & Hochwurzen, the night pass is discounted by 20 %. If you prefer starting the night on runners, you should visit the night toboggan run at Rittisberg.

Après ski Pichl

Cosy, warm hut with their typical Styrian hospitality can be found in the ski area Reiteralm, but also umbrella bars and apres ski huts which provide for some lively parties at the end of the ski day. If you prefer to stay sporty after the day on the piste has come to an end, there is a great toboggan run, and also possibilities for airboarding and snowtubing in Pichl.

Snowpark: Snowpark Crosspark Reiteralm Pichl

On the Reiteralm, freestylers will find a small but fine park with the "Crosspark Reiteralm" - slides, boxes, a wall and kickers are available here. If you have bigger plans, you will find the two super parks in the Planai and on the Dachstein in the "Ski amadé" region. With kickers of more than 10 m (Planai), the sky is the limit here. Numerous different rails, boxes, tubes, wall rides and jibs leave hardly any wish unfulfilled - neither for professionals nor for those who dare to take their first steps in the park.
