Ski area Nauders am Reschenpass - Bergkastel
In the ski paradise of Reschenpass, you can find the lively centre at the Bergkastel mountain station. Here you can find everything a skier's heart desires: easy slopes for little skiers, a snow park with boxes, kickers rails and slides for free styler, as well as XXL-sized Northern slopes for the discerning skier. Experienced skiers can look forward to the black slopes which do not only offer difficult passages, but also breathtaking panoramic views. Those who prefer quieter times should try the generous West slope which runs by Lärchenalm, the steep Alm-slope or the pistes below Tscheyeck.
Last but not least, the children's area "Nauderix Kinderland" at the mountain station of Bergastel gondola offers a fully equipped ski world with separate lifts and various facilities for children. The little ones are cared for even from a gastronomical point of view: right next to the children's area you can find the panorama children's restaurant Bergkastel which offers children's meals and a play area.
In the Nauders ski area there are hotspots with free Wi-Fi access in all restaurants and ski huts. So everyone who wants to keep their friends and loved ones at home up to date can post photos of the fantastic mountain panorama or the latest slope experiences directly!
Après ski Pfunds
The resort has a broad offer of leisure time activities off the piste, including an ice skating rink in the resort centre which also has a curling track. Those who want to try out ice climbing can do so on the 17 m high ice tower - twice per week, ice climbing is possible in the evenings as well! Winter hiking trails and winter nordic walking trails lead through the beautiful landscape around Pfunds. Trips to the picturesque high valley "Pfundser Tschey" 1,700 m above the resort are especially appealing. Once per week you can take part in a free guided hike. Those looking for a little more action are welcome to the 3.5 km long toboggan run at Pfundser Tschey, or the natural toboggan run in St. Ulrich, where you can also have a hot "Jagertee" in the toboggan hut.
Snowpark: Snowpark Pfunds
The fun park "Goldpark Nauders" offers a range of challenges for boarders and skiers of all skill levels: 3 m, 5 m and 7 m kicker lines, boardercross, some rails and boxes, as well as a parcours of steep curves and wave rides.
If you want to visit one of the best snow parks in the Tyrolean Alps, head to the ski resort of Ischgl-Samnaun. The snow park scores with the longest pro line in Europe with more than 20 obstacles: It is divided into 2 areas: the large "Improve your skills" area for professionals and the "All Fun" area for beginners among the freestylers and families. Numerous rails, slides, boxes and wave rides await boarders and freeskiers as well as more than 20 kickers of different sizes for all skill levels. There are also 2 corners, a tubespine and a public bag jump. On the varied funcross line you can let off steam in 14 steep turns. The park is accessible by 3 chairlifts: the Velillbahn, the Filmjochbahn and the Idjochbahn.
If you want to fly high you can venture out to the snow park on the Kaunertal glacier. It is located at 2,990 m altitude and offers various kicker and obstacle lines which can be combined with each other. Easy start-offs can be made on the mini shreds with easy jibs and jumps, always with an eye on the pros, right next to you. In total there are 20 different elements to let freestyler hearts beat faster. Including a flat-down picknick combo, a 6 m long tube and the start funbox, as well as various kickers, right up to a 9 m long step-up flat box and a 6 m long gun-pipe - here there is something for everyone! Freestyle fun here at the Kaunertal glacier can even be enjoyed longer than anywhere else: the legendary "Spring Classics" even make shredding possible as late as April and May.
