Location and facilities
The traditional, 3-star Landgasthof Dorferwirt is located in the heart of the romantic high Alpine valley Wildschönau, centrally in Oberau. The resort centre can be reached after about 300 m. A practice lift can be found in approx. 750 m distance and the Schatzberg lifts in Auffach are approx. 4.2 km away. The Markjochbahn lift in Niederau is about 4.4. km away. The ski bus stops directly in front of the building and takes you to the ski lifts.The family-run accommodation offers an entrance area, reception with safe, lift, Wi-Fi, a cosy parlour, restaurant, house bar, fireplace lounge as well as a ski room with ski boot dryers and petting zoo. Free parking (based on availability) at the hotel.
Also included in the holiday price is the "Wildschönau CARD" with which you can benefit from a number of reductions with partners in Wildschönaus and the surrounding region, e.g.: free use of the Nightliner (night bus from Fri. - Sun.) between Niederau and Auffach, free snowshoe rental, winter and snowshoe hikes (3 x weekly), mountain farming museum "z'Bach" and much more (please note: the service providers hold the right to limitations and changes to the services and opening hours).

The already included half-board comprises a breakfast buffet with self-produced ham, bacon and similar products and fresh fruit, as well as a 3-course evening meal (with choice of main dish - no choice on day of arrival), and several times per week there is also a salad bar.The accommodation's own kitchen provides you with products from its own organic farms and butcher. 1 x weekly, there is a traditional roast suckling buffet with music. The New Year's Eve dinner is also already included in the holiday price.
