Ski holidays Mühlbach im Pinzgau - small district at the large Wildkogel!
Mühlbach im Pinzgau
Mühlbach im Pinzgau is located nicely at the southern foot of the Wildkogel in Oberpinzgau in the Salzburger Land. As a part of the district Bramberg, the resort stretches up to an altitude of 810 metres. Located at the homonymous stream, Mühlbach fascinates with its originality and down-to-earth character. The emerald mining around Mühlbach has ever been a reason for amazement to visitors. As the region once used to be the centre of copper ore mining, you will still find many devises reminding of these times, e.g. the Geological and Mining Resarch Centre or the Forestry Management building. Come and experience the enchanted atmosphere in romantic Mühlbach, at the 2,225 m high Wildkogel.Wildkogel-Arena
Amidst the impressive 3,000 m high peaks of the Tauern crest and the Kitzbührel Alps, lie the idyllic resorts of the Oberpinzgau region. The area is characterised by the beautiful, untouched nature of the national park Hohe Tauern, with its panorama hiking trails in the grass mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps and the pretty resorts with their typical Salzburg flair. All round the Wildkogel ski fans will find a family-friendly ski area with wonderfully wide and relishing 55 km of piste. For the little ones, there are children's ski school, ski kindergarten, practice pistes, as well as a toboggan run that's fun for the young and young at heart. If you're still hungry for more, you will find Oberpinzgau to be an ideal access point to the Zillertal Area, the Kitzbühel Alps, as well as to Uttendorf to the Weißsee Glacier.Travel Mühlbach im Pinzgau
