Location and facilities
The comfortable Sporthotel Marco Polo Alpina, embedded in the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Hochkönig region, is located in lovely Hinterthal, a district of Maria Alm, approx. 5 km from the centre. The accommodation is located directly on the piste and near a practice lift, meaning that it is possible to ski to the accommodation with appropriate snow conditions. The mountain lift to the Ski amadé ski region is approx. 200 m away. The ski bus stops approx. 100 m away from the hotel. Access to a cross-country trail can be found directly behind the hotel.The cosy hotel comprises a main building and a side building and offers an entrance area with reception and safe, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, parlour, breakfast room, hotel bar, lounge, a lockable ski room, a children's playroom as well as a terrace. There are also free parking spaces (subject to availability) and a charging station for electric vehicles.
The spa area with indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam room, infrared cabin and relaxation room as well as the fitness room are all available to be used for free (opening hours: see posted info on site). The solarium, massages and beauty treatments can be enjoyed for a locally payable fee.
The hotel also offers childcare for children aged 4 - 14 in the afternoons (minimum number of participants: 3 children or more, see information on site).

The friendly furnished studios offer a living/sleeping area, shower/wc, flat-screen TV with built-in radio, telephone, safe, hair dryer, Wi-Fi as well a kitchenette with refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle and microwave, as well as a balcony or terrace. The apartments also have a separate bedroom. Allocation can take place in the main building or side building.Board
The all inclusive board consists of a rich breakfast buffet with muesli, fresh fruits, eggs, a lunch pack (with advance registration), coffee and cake in the afternoon (14:30 - 16:00) and a 4-course buffet with salad buffet in the evening. There are different themed buffets several times a week. Furthermore, from 12:00 - 21:00, you can also enjoy beverages from the beverage menu such as bottled wines, Aperol, beer, long drinks, sparkling wine, whisky and schnapps (beverages can only be consumed in the restaurant and bar area, and in the bistro between 12:00 - 18:00). - Access to the sauna area is restricted to guests aged 16 years or older.
- The use of the lifts is free of charge for children up to and including age 5 in Maria Alm. Should your child use the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
