At a glance
Location
The family-run Apartmenthotel Sonnenhof is situated on a hill, about 1.3 km from the centre of Maria Alm. The valley station of the Abergbahn 8-seater gondola lift is approx. 1 km away (approx. 450 m on foot), which takes you conveniently to the mountain station of the Hochkönig - Maria Alm ski area. A ski bus, which departs approx. 250 m away, also takes you to the Natrun T-bar lift approx. 1.3 km away. The entrance to a cross-country ski trail is about 500 m away and there is a grocery store about 900 m away.Facilities
The modern accommodation facilities include a reception, Wi-Fi, lift, lounge, breakfast room, ski cellar and parking spaces. A carport and a charging station for electric cars are available for a fee and subject to availability.The hotel also has a 100 m² spa area with a Finnish panoramic sauna, spa showers, relaxation area and a large outdoor terrace.
You will also receive the Hochkönig Card on site (information subject to change, see information on site).

Important notes
- Use of the lifts is free of charge for children aged 5 or under in Maria Alm. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a Minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.

Generally speaking, babies younger than 24 months of age upon arrival can travel for free, but they must be listed on the booking. Please note that fees for the stay may be charged locally (see Local Costs/Services).
