The Katschberg-Aineck ski area with a total of approx. 70 km of skiing pleasure offers a wide range of long and varied slopes. The area is suitable for families with children as well as for advanced skiers. The most difficult slope "Direttissima" is 3 km long and very steep at the start. It is considered one of the most difficult slopes in the Alps. As 100% of the pistes are snow-covered, snow is guaranteed throughout the entire ski area at the appropriate temperatures.
The Fanningberg - Mariapfarr ski area is manageable and family-friendly, but thanks to some difficult steep slopes and a race track it is also varied for advanced skiers.
In the Grosseck-Speiereck ski area, which offers you 50 kilometres of varied pistes, you can enjoy the valley descent from Speiereck to St. Michael, which is a highlight at an altitude difference of 1,300 m and a length of about 9 km. The area is suitable for families with children as well as for demanding skiers. The snow-making systems covering the whole area guarantee snow at the right temperatures.
In the Obertauern ski area you have a further 100 km of pistes at your disposal. The slopes of the Schaidbergbahn and the Plattenkarbahn are particularly suitable for beginners. Real experts dare to climb the notorious Gamsleitenspitze. Freeriders get their money's worth in Obertauern as do freestylers. The fun park below the Kehrkopf - the snow park "The Spot" - is a dream for everyone who is looking for some action.
No matter if beginner slope with practice lifts or steep mogul slopes, magic carpet or modern cable car, fun park or freeride area - here everybody will find his suitable terrain!
