At a glance
Location and facilities
The romantic Almhütte Gipper chalet lies approx. 4 km above Heiligenblut, at an altitude of 1,700 m, in the middle of the Upper Tauern National Park. The resort centre, as well as the nearest lift, can be reached after about 4.5 km. When snow conditions allow it, experienced skiers can reach the chalet via a ski route/unprepared terrain. Important notes
- Bed linens and towels must either be brought from home or rented for a fee in resort.
- Snow chains are mandatory for arrivals in winter! In the event of heavy snowfall, the road must be cleared first.
- Please note that no loud parties are permitted in this accommodation.
- No lift pass voucher is issued for children aged 9 or under. When accompanied by a parent, children ages 5 to 9 receive a snowman ticket (lift pass), which is payable on site at €9.50 per child per day. The children's rate applies for children travelling alone (e.g. for ski lessons). Children under age 5 are free of charge. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
