Location and facilities
The welcoming, 4-star Wohllfühlhotel Schiestl was partially renovated in 2018 and is situated in a picturesque location in Fügenberg, approx. 1 km away from the resort centre of Fügen. The valley station of the "Spieljochbahn" lift can be reached after about 500 m and a ski bus stop is located right at the hotel. The "Erlebnistherme Zillertal" thermal baths are approx. 1.5 km away. A winter hiking trail runs right along the hotel.The comfortable hotel is furnished with an entrance area with reception and lounge, 3 lifts, Wi-Fi, restaurant, cosy pine parlour and hotel bar, children's play area and playroom, table tennis and ski room with boot dryers. Free parking spaces, a fee-based parking garage and a charging station for electric vehicles can also be used where available.
The hotel also has their "Badeschlössel" spa area (approx. 600 m²) with indoor family pool and kiddie pool, bubble bay, counter-current system and massage jets (7:00 - 21:00) as well as a Finnish sauna, steam bath, sanarium, brine steam bath, infrared cabin, cool-down grotto and shower, relaxation room, fresh air courtyard (13:00 - 22:00) and fitness room. In the "Vitalcenter", various beauty treatments and massages are offered (for a fee). The solarium is also available to use (for a fee). For bookings made by 31/10/2020, you will receive one €20 spa voucher per room in resort (no cash payouts possible, non-transferable, only valid during your stay).
There is also a weekly activity programme (the "Sei-Dabei-Programm") with shared ski days, snowshoe hikes, Bingo night, meditation, live music, etc. (as per info at the hotel).
In addition, you will receive the "Erste Ferienregion im Zillertal" guest card in resort for free, which grants you access to a few discounts towards various leisure facilities in the region (as per info in resort).

The country-style and sometimes modern rooms offer a bath or shower/WC, flat screen TV with radio, Wi-Fi, safe, hair dryer and sometimes a cosmetic mirror, mini bar (for a fee) and balcony or terrace.Board
Depending on the type of room/board booked, breakfast or half board PLUS catering are included in the holiday price.The breakfast option consists of a daily breakfast buffet with high quality, home-grown products as well as an open kitchen for egg-based dishes (7:00 - 11:00). The half board option consists of the daily breakfast buffet, a daily afternoon snack with juice, tea and water (13:00 - 17:00) as well as a 5-course evening meal of your choice with salad buffet and appetiser buffet. Children's menus are also available for the little ones. Themed buffets take place regularly, and the Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners are also included.
