Location
The comfortable hotel "Hotel Blü - bin so frei" lies in the middle of the pedestrian area of Bad Hofgastein along with its cafés and restaurants. A ski bus stops in the immediate vicinity (approx. 20 m away) and takes you to the approx. 1 km distant "Schlossalmbahn" lift. Access to a cross-country trail can be found about 450 m away.Facilities
The Hotel Blü is composed of a main building and a side building (the "Baumhaus", which was newly built in the summer of 2020), both of which are connected via an underground passageway. The general facilities include a recception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, library and ski cellar. Furthermore, the hotel also has a charging station for electric vehicles (for a fee) as well as fee-based parking spaces (subject to availability). Free parking spaces (subject to availability) can be found in the vicinity of the hotel.The approx. 500 m² large Himmelblü spa is located on the 5th floor of the building, over the rooftops of Bad Hofgastein, which invites guests to relax with its Finnish sauna, organic sauna, panoramic relaxation room, panoramic terrace, rooftop garden and large yoga room (opening hours as per info in resort).
In addition, you will receive the Gastein Card for numerous reductions, such as reduced admission to the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein (as per info in resort).
Board
Half board with a rich breakfast buffet (07:30 - 10:30) and a 3-course menu of your choice (17:00 - 20:30) in the evening is included in the price of the holiday. A gala dinner is served at Christmas (24/12) and New Year's Eve. There are vegetarian alternatives and lactose-free dishes are available on request. You will receive a bottle of Blü wine in your room on arrival once per booking of 5 or 7 nights (non-transferable, no cash redemption, see information on site). Important notes
- Depending on the type of room chosen, allocation will take place in either the main building or the side building.
- Use of the lifts throughout the Gastein Valley is free for children aged 5 and under. Should your child be using the lifts in other ski areas of the Ski amadé independently, a "Minicard" (lift pass) may need to be purchased in resort.
- In case you have booked equipment hire through us, the hire shop is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 9 km).
- When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.

Reductions
